My partner and I were lucky enough to get to work with the Academy Award winning editor Kirk Baxter to create these spots for the 2015 Academy Awards. We sifted through every Oscars ceremony since 1940 to find moments that fully capture the feeling of winning this coveted award.
These were rolled out on the Academy's social channels and the Valentine's Day spot aired on TV. 1,000,000+ views on Facebook.
Sure, if you know super technical design programs you can create amazing things, but most people don't. With the HP Sprout, people can finally bring their creative visions to life with the tools they know how to use best - their hands.
I helped concept, write and sell this launch spot that HP liked so much, they decided to run it during the MLB world series.
We created an interactive iBook dime novel (pretty much an 1800s version of US Weekly) from 1823 to give fans a look into the world of Hugh Glass, the hero in the Oscar-winning film The Revenant. I helped write, concept and work with Trailer Park's talented illustrators to turn our ideas into reality.
Take a look through the whole book by watching the video, or check it out as an iBook.
Does anything feel better than satisfying a craving? Nope! In order to convey the joy of finding what you want with Google Search, we created fun meme-like spots that were promoted across Instagram and Facebook. I sifted through hundreds of random videos to find the best clips and we made many spots, but here are a few of my favorites.
California Pizza Kitchen wanted to highlight that its pizzas have flavors from all around the world, baked fresh right in your oven. With that in mind, we created social content that let everyone know they didn't need a backpacking-across-the-world trip to experience these amazing flavors. The adventure is at home.
Spots were pre roll on YouTube, and social content lived on Instagram and Facebook.
When your phone has a big screen, it brings the big screen excitement you're watching to life. We created these stop motion Vines with the talented folks at Shadow Machine to show how exactly the ZTE Warp Sync turns what you're watching into something bigger.
Have you ever looked at the calendar and realized you unfortunately forgot to get your bae a present on Valentine's Day? Well, we decided to help people out by letting them tweet sweet nothings at Boost Mobile for the chance to be turned into songs (a.k.a. a cute gift for your soul mate). We had professional RnB, opera, rap, pop and rock singers come in and turn people's tweets into one hit wonders. In four hours, we made 33 songs that we tweeted back to fans through SoundCloud, got 394 retweets, and almost 3,000 SoundCloud plays. Boost Mobile liked the idea so much, they repeated it for Mother's Day. Here are a few of my favorites that we made.
Boost Mobile is all about supporting music and the arts, so they commissioned six amazing artists to do their thing in a Venice studio. We documented their creative process, which the social team turned into digital content under #BoostMobileMarked.
Artists featured: Apexer, Canlove, Mear One, Oz What, Gregory Siff, Mr44
Neutrogena Hydro Boost had an epic 2015, scooping up awards left and right. Inspired by the film industry's awards season, we created a social and digital "for your consideration" campaign to convey this award-winning moisturizer leaves your skin also feeling like an award winner.
We created gifs for Instagram, a "best skin award" to send to a friend through Snapchat, Facebook carousel, banners, and a newly redesigned Hydro Boost landing page.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup is unique because, unlike other foundations, its mix of vitamins and antioxidants actually help your skin while it's on. With this in mind, we created a #Strongfoundation campaign that was all about striving for a health body and mind to set you up for success.
We decided to create a campaign that has fun with the common saying "leaves a bad taste in your mouth." No matter how bad things get in life, Doublemint always leaves a good taste in your mouth.
Some people see a therapist. I do stand up. I also write on a sketch comedy team called Goldie at Westside Comedy Theater. Here, you can see my dainty stand up comedy stylings and the wonderful actors on my team totally nail a "House of Cards" parody sketch I wrote.
